About Carolina

Carolina grew up in Laredo, Texas, where she was introduced to horses by her dad from a very early age. From that moment, she has loved horses. Once she got on, she was hooked—it was impossible to get her off! She spent her childhood riding with her dad on the ranch and has been around horses all her life. In 2014, Carolina began competing in reining, a sport she quickly fell in love with and continues to enjoy today.

In high school and college, Carolina volunteered at horseback riding camps in her hometown, sharing her love for horses while teaching kids how to ride and care for them. Having been deeply involved with horses her entire life, Carolina understands the joy they bring and the unique challenges that come with caring for them.

Carolina graduated from St. Edward’s University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in International Business and a minor in Digital Marketing. She is currently pursuing her Master’s of Business Administration at Southern Methodist University. Her background in business and digital marketing, combined with her bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, allows her to provide exceptional service to a diverse range of clients.

She is excited to bring her lifelong passion for horses and her professional expertise to her role as a Horse Insurance Specialist Agent at Markel.
