Senior Underwriter, Environmental Liability
Olivia Hogan joined Markel on 30th September 2024 as Senior Underwriter, Environmental Liability. She has 12 years' London Market experience, previously holding positions at Liberty and most recently AIG, leading the UK Environmental underwriting team.
Olivia is responsible for assisting in the development of Markel International's Environmental Liability product, underwriting a portfolio of diverse business. She is also responsible for building new - and fostering existing - broker relationships. Olivia is the current Chair of the IUA Non-Marine Environmental Committee.
She holds a certificate in Insurance and is currently working towards her CMI management and leadership diploma. Olivia was born in London and is an avid user of British Sign Language, regularly volunteering for the Great Britain Deaf Ladies Futsal team. Her favourite place to visit is Ireland, where she frequently spends time visiting family.
