Executive Underwriter, General Liability
Lauren Percival joined Markel in August 2024 as an Executive Underwriter in our International Casualty team. She began her career at Transatlantic Re before moving to QBE in 2002, where she completed her underwriting training and worked on the International team for 13 years.
Lauren has over 20 years’ experience in the Lloyd’s market, including 5 years at Chaucer and 4.5 years at Arch, all within International Liability. She is responsible for day-to-day underwriting at Lloyd’s, building a General Liability portfolio for Markel utilising her strong relationships in the market and offering an exemplary service to both brokers and clients.
Lauren lives in Southeast London with her husband and two young daughters, and enjoys travel paired with a love for food culture from around the world. Her favourite restaurants in London include Hawksmoor and Coya.
