Davide Balocco

Davide joined Markel in October 2011 as a Senior Underwriter in our PFR team. He began his career as a Financial Lines Broker at Willis Ltd (now WTW) focusing on both insurance and reinsurance placements. Since joining Markel, Davide has been underwriting Management Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. Davide has over 20 years’ experience in the Lloyd’s market. He is the Head of Management Liability, responsible for the growth and performance of the portfolio.

Davide holds a Law degree from the University of Turin in Italy. He lives in London with his wife and son and practices several sports at amateur level. Davide is a supporter of Juventus FC, his hometown football club.
